Rome Fiumicino

The airport Rome Fiumicino (Leonardo da Vinci) is the most important airport of the Italian capital Rome.

Travel Rome

Travel between Airport Fiumicino and Rome city center by express train or taxi

Trains: There are daily express trains traveling from 06.37 to 23.37 o'clock every 30 minutes from the airport Fiumicino in Rome to the Termini main train station of Rome (travel time: 35 minutes). A slower train connection (to Roma Tiburtina, Orte or Fara Sabina) goes every 15 minutes and holds at several stops on it’s way in the Rome city center to the Tiburtina station.

Bus/taxi: The Terravision shuttle bus commutes to the airport every day from 08.30-20.30 o'clock from the Rome Train station Termini. Between 01.15-05.00 o'clock there is a night bus to the Tiburtina station, which departures from the international platform. A ticket costs 5 Euro.

Taxis in the city center are available at any time; one should use only licensed taxis with taxi meter. An airport taxi surcharge is required. A taxi travel airport - Rome city center costs approx. 40 Euro.

Transfer between Terminals

Terminal A is for domestic flights, terminal B for domestic and international flights within the European Union, terminal C for intercontinental and international flights outside the European Union. A free shuttle bus connects the domestic and international terminals with the parking lot. The shuttle bus operates every 15 minutes in the time of 07.00-22.00 o'clock and every 20 minutes in the time of 22.00-07.00 o'clock.

Rome Ciampino

The airport Rome Ciampino is located southeast from Rome the capital of Italy.

Travel by Bus: Terravision commutes every 30 minutes between the train station Termini and the airport Ciampino. Travel costs are 8 Euro and the trip will take about 40 minutes depending on the traffic. The bus departures at via Marsala opposite the hotel Royal Santini. In order reach the center of Ciampino one can also take a cheap shuttle bus, which travels once an hour from the Airport Ciampino towards the Train Station for the costs of only 1 Euro. From there one can take the train that takes about 15 minutes to the Main Train Station Termini.
