Flights to Nice - Nice Airport

Nice airport was inaugurated in the year 1957 and was the second French airport for the international air traffic, which is in that area (Nice-Cote d’Azur) extremely intensive.

Later on the three kilometers long main airstrip was extended by a second runway, which was built over giant earth-fill dam on the sea.

Taking off from this runway is an impressive affair. From the terraces of the airport building one has a wonderful view over the city of Nice and the alps.

Airport Facilities: Banks, exchange offices and cash machines are available in both terminals. Terminal 1 has a post office, a pharmacy as well as an emergency medical supply.

The medical on-call service is 24/7 (dial 13 at each airport telephone, free of charge. Restaurants, Cafeterias and bars as well as gift shops, news agents and Duty free Shops are available in both terminals.
