Airport Madrid-Barajas

The Madrid airport Barajas (Aeropuerto de Madrid Barajas) is the largest airport of Madrid and the largest airport of Spain. The airport is located 12 km (9 miles) northeast from Madrid city center and was the most important travel connecting between Europe and South America and the linchpin of Spain aviation with up to 120 flights per hour. Airport Madrid-Cuadro Vientos

Airport Madrid-Cuadro Vientos is the oldest airfield of Madrid. Madrid-Cuadro Vientos was build in 1911 and nowadays the airport is used by the military and by civilian aviation. In the year 2005 64,657 flight movements were registered. In direct proximity is the largest aviation museum of whole of Spain with unusual historical aircraft and documentations.
